Me, as a huge fan of the Fairy Tail manga series, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Japanime Games Heroes of Fairy Tail. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint! The mix of card drafting and action selection makes it easy to learn, even for those who are new to board games. Plus, with 60 hero cards and 42 adversary cards, the replayability is endless. I can play this game over and over again without getting bored. And let’s not forget that it was designed by the amazing team KAEDAMA – Antoine Bauza, Corentin Lebrat, Ludovic Maublanc, and Théo Rivière. These game design heroes really outdid themselves with this one!
My friend Lisa was skeptical when I told her about Japanime Games Heroes of Fairy Tail. She’s not a big fan of manga or anime but I convinced her to give it a try. And boy was she glad she did! Not only did she have a blast playing the game with me, but she also ended up becoming a fan of the series after learning more about the characters through the game. The 18 constellation tiles and 15 mission cards add an extra layer of strategy to the game that keeps you on your toes. We had so much fun playing together that we can’t wait for our next game night!
